New Job and some..

I love this new job!  President Elect. Obama will announce a new job,  a Chief Performance Officer (CPO). This is a new position designed to combat waste and improve efficiency.

The new Chief Performance Officer, will report directly to the President and head a "SWAT" team "composed of top-performing and highly paid government professionals" to work with agency heads and the White House's Office of Management and Budget to make the government less wasteful and more efficient.

What a great idea..a (CPO),  I can't wait to see this.  The President Elect said that, the country not only has a deficit in 'Dollars'  but  a deficit in 'accountability and judgement'

Ohh...on a side-note, remember Joe-the-Plumber?!  Yes, that guy!  Well, he is headed to Israel as a War Correspondent to cover the Police-Action on the Gaza strip for 'PJTV' (conservative media outlet Pajamas TV...www.pjtv.com/)...what?!..that's what I said!!!

Our great country provides opportunity for everyone to serve in some fashion!

    God speed Joe..

New challenges, new opportunities

  From the website: http://change.gov/

"As a new year begins, many Americans are reflecting on 2008 while looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities we’ll face  in 2009.

The past year brought change to our country. Millions of Americans participated in our political process for the first time. Folks came together to work for common goals, and the bonds of citizenship grew stronger in cities and towns across the country.

But alongside these accomplishments, many Americans also faced tremendous economic hardship.

Too many families are dealing with the strain and loss stemming from this financial crisis. In 2009, our nation must come together to forge solutions to the challenges we face."
